RACE REPORT

ROUND 1.1 – SATURDAY – 11 OCTOBER 2025

A near 30-strong grid packed with talent was headed by Jayden Hidding in timed qualifying but in race conditions it was the experience of former Champion Conor Clancy that shone through. From third on the grid Clancy held off Hidding to win the heat race and then did likewise to Veer Chopra in the pre final.

Knowing that opportunities to pass Clancy were few and far between Chopra was aggressive at the start of the final, trying a move in turn two that resulted in both he and Clancy running wide and handing the lead to last year’s Vice Champion Mitansh Jain. Undeterred, Clancy regained his composure, caught his teammate and after pushing the pair of them away from the pack, calmly made his move to secure the victory. Jain took the flag in a secure second place with Chopra completing the podium.

ROUND 1.2 – SUNDAY – 12 OCTOBER 2025

Chopra shook off his disappointment from Saturday to take pole position in qualifying on Sunday morning and backed up his performance with a commanding drive to win the heat race with Clancy and distant second.

However in the pre final Chopra’s hopes of another win were dashed when a sudden gust of wind coated turn one in sand, sending most of the leaders briefly off track and giving the lead to Saturday’s polesitter Hidding. Chopra’s misery was completed with a post-race penalty as Clancy took another solid second place.

At the start of the final it was Arhaan Koreishi who made the best getaway to grab the early race lead and impressively held on to top spot as Clancy fought his way up from a poor first lap to eventually run in P2. As he did on Saturday Clancy spent several laps pushing his teammates away from the pack before making his move, taking the lead and cruising away for yet another victory.

Koreishi was overjoyed with second place and behind them Jain held off a charging pack to take third and give the Mumbai Falcons and clean sweep of the podium.
