HONDA CHALLENGE 2012 – 2013

Once more the UAE race season is upon us and as ever the Honda Challenge will be running to give aspiring racers a chance to experience life at the top level.  The series will run in tandem with 5 of the AARKC rounds that will held at Al Ain Raceway between October 2012 and April 2013 (complete dates below).

The format will depend on what is published in the Supplementary Regulations the week before each race, either grids defined by Qualifying or a Random Grid alternative.  In either case the racing is guaranteed to be competitive!  In the interest of sporting parity there will be a minimum weight limit with all karts being equipped with brand new weight boxes.

Each driver will score points at every round based upon their finishing position and at the end of the season a champion will be decided. 

Drivers who wish to enter do not need their own race wear as all the equipment – including karts – is provided by Al Ain Raceway.  The point of the Honda Challenge is for grassroots drivers who want to hone their skills in a competitive environment but who may not be able to afford to by their own equipment.  At the bargain price of as little as AED 260 per round, for advanced payments, it is the best value-for-money karting available in the UAE.
