ROUND 2 – SUNDAY – 16 NOVEMBER 2025

Al Forsan International Sports Resort – Supported by Abu Dhabi Sports Council

The Mini MAX category once again delivered the kind of breathtaking racing that has already become the trademark of this year’s championship. With the Abu Dhabi Sports Council supporting the event and Al Forsan International Sports Resort providing a superb stage, it was Atiqa Mir who opened the day with a stylish pole position in Qualifying.

Mir converted that speed into a convincing Heat win, but the balance of power began to shift as the day progressed. Benjamin Karajkovic set the pace early in the Pre-Final before a penalty dropped him down the order, allowing Dhian Singh Pahal to inherit victory ahead of Paul Schutzmann and Rehan Khan Rasheed.

The Final itself was fiercely contested. Schutzmann made the perfect launch from the front row and settled into the lead as the chasing pack jostled for position behind him. Karajkovic and Pahal were exchanging places up until the final lap when an incident saw Pahal hit the barriers and retire. Karajkovic crossed the line in 2^nd place but was given a penalty for his part in the altercation, dropping him well out of the podium places. Gray and Butchard both applied pressure in the closing laps, but Schutzmann absorbed everything thrown his way to claim a well-earned first win of the season. Gray followed him home in second with Butchard a close third after another classic Mini MAX battle all the way to the chequered flag.
